CONTINUE TO PRAY!

ERVIN-TIM-320

Please pray for Bro. Tim Ervin, our Minister of Music. He received a double lung transplant on Thursday, October 9, 2014.  Updates will be posted here and on our Facebook page.

PROGRESS REPORT 10/28/14:

Bro. Tim is continuing to make steady progress in his recovery from his lung transplant surgery.  Last week he suffered a setback that required some additional time in the hospital.  He suffered a minor stroke that caused weakness on his left side.  Fortunately, his recovery from the effects of the stroke is almost 100%.  He is out of the hospital and continuing his regular routine of doctor visits and rehab.  Pray for him as he continues to regain strength and stamina.  Pray for Babs and Zachary.

UPDATE 10/29/14

Tim’s recovery from his double lung transplant is continuing.  On Tuesday, Tim underwent a scheduled ultrasound exam of his extremities to look for any blood clots.  The doctors discovered two clots.  These clots are unrelated to the stroke he experienced last week.  The doctors re-admitted Tim to the hospital to administer blood thinning medication.  The expectation is that this process will take 2 – 5 days.  After the clots are dissolved, Tim will be released.  In the meantime, his breathing is strong and he continues to make positive progress in his recovery.  Continue to pray for Tim, Babs, and Zachary.
